A few photographs at the brides home was the order of the day as she prepared herself for her wedding with the help of the bridesmaids and make-up artist Zoe cooke, all were in good spirits on what turned out to be a fantastic occasion.

The idyllic All Saints Church at Dilhorne was the setting for the ceremony and Philip & Jemma could not of wished for a better place or better weather as the warm June sunshine continued all day.

Driven in an elegant open top Beauford car Whiston Hall was the destination for the reception, The views and it's setting are stunning set in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside the perfect place for a perfect wedding.

Andrew & Vanessa

The Moat House at Acton Trussell was the location for Andrew and Vanessa's wedding, a beautiful location at anytime of year.

The day started by capturing the guests the groom and best man arriving, right from the start you could tell the atmosphere was going to be great for this springtime wedding.

The ceremony itself was in the Acton suite a beautiful light room overlooking the canal, drinks reception followed and then onto the group shots and then a walk around the loverly grounds with Andrew and Vanessa.

With out a doubt a fantastic day with great people and enjoyed by everyone who attended.

Litchfield wedding with Neil & Yvette

Off to the beautiful city of Litchfield for the wedding of Neil & Yvette and first stop was joells haircare this being only a short walk away from the registry office and the Great Western George Hotel where the reception was being held. The grounds around the registration office are beautiful at this time of year (July) and after the ceremony we couldn't resist a walk round to get some shots. Loverly couple fantastic day. Heaton House Farm Wedding with Andrew & Sarah

First time visit for me back in May to Heaton House farm wedding venue, set on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border and surrounded by beautiful countryside this is where Andrew and Sarah decided to tie the knot. With the weather turning favourable for the day it was a last minute decision to hold the ceremony outside and with no time to waste the staff got to work and did a fantastic job in setting this up. Kev & Sue

Kevin & Sue have been married for 25 years, So this year they decided to renew their vows. Together with their three sons Joe 22, Jordan 20 and Josh 12, we went to the picturesque church of St Mary's at Marston on Dove where it all happened 25 years ago. This was an extra special and emotional wedding for Judith and myself as Kev and Sue are our long term friends, it was great to see them so happy after a year of troubles that ended when recently Kev's father Ken sadly passed away.

The ceremony was beautiful, relaxed and after doing the formal family photographs outside, it was off to the Castle Hotel at Hatton for the Wedding breakfast and then over the road to the Doveside club for an evening of drinking, dancing and to be honest just having a real good time celebrating their happiness together.

Hannah & Dave

A beautiful frosty morning welcomed us as we arrived at Downs Banks near Barlaston for Hannah & Dave's pre wedding shoot. To me this is an important part of my job as a photographer it gives me time to get to know the couple and for them to get to know me, and with no pressure it usually turns out to be most enjoyable, and this shoot was no exception.

The Downs, owned by The National Trust are a perfect place for a stroll on a beautiful morning, and to have the company of Hannah & Dave and of course Snoopy the dog the morning just turned out to be perfect.

Judith (my wife and assistant) and myself are looking forward so much to the wedding it's going to be a fantastic day.

James & Kim

The rain came down on the morning of James & Kim's big day, but it didn't even come close to dampening the spirits of the wedding party. I arrived at Cauldon low to shoot the bride prep to find them all in a joyful mood, make up being done to perfection by Sarah Hevey from 27 Marsh Parade and hair being done to the same high standard by Amy Wight. Off then to a beautiful ceremony at St Mildred's church Whiston, and then just in time the sun decided to show it's face as we went on to the gorgeous Dovecliffe Hall for the meal and evening reception. Flowers were from flowers & co Longton & the music was by the brilliant Live Wire. A fantastic day, Fantastic location with fantastic people, who could ask for more.

Heading off down the A50 we arrived at the beautiful venue of Swancar farm www.swancarfarmcountryhouse.com where we were greeted by some of the friendliest staff I have ever met. With all the oak beams and large windows I knew it was going to be a photographers dream.
